Holiday Day 3 - All about the food

Today started with a lie in, always a good start to a Sunday. Henry played downstairs with Marmar and Parpar while  Mummy and Daddy had a much needed extra hour in bed.
We ate bacon sandwiches and then the boys took the dogs to the beach while we sat around in our PJs, drank tea and battled with the impossible jigsaw. Henry had a little nap and Marmar put lunch on - stewed steak, gravy, carrots, peas, mash and yorkshires...proper Sunday food. So good.
We had a lazy afternoon and then wrapped up warm and walked to Titchwell Manor (the posh hotel where we used to stay) for tapas, drinks and afternoon tea. Henry was an angel, had a good look around before a feed and nap. The food was divine. We started off with 'Norfolk Tapas' - warm crackling, olives, chorizo, quail legs, mussels and warm spiced nuts. After that we had afternoon tea. There's not a lot I love more than a champagne afternoon tea and as far as afternoon teas go, this one was up there with the best. Sandwiches, scones, brownies, lemon drizzle cake, marshmallow teacakes and mint chocolate macaroons. A glass of champagne for me and a large glass of red for Mum. Such a treat.
We left the boys in the bar and have brought Henry home for a play before bath time. The house is warm, we are full to bursting, the dogs are tired and the baby is happy. Good times.
All ready to go out
