44 Happy Summer Days - Day 19

We had a lazy morning today and then went for lunch in Durham. We decided on an amazing Thai restaurant, Zen, as it's one of our favourite places to eat in Durham. Usually when we go out to eat we see little babies behaving impeccably in their highchairs, their parents aren't trying frantically to keep them quiet or bribing them with biscuits...they're just perfect babies. Today Henry was one of them. Thank you God. Our friend commented on how well behaved he was and although we wanted to smile smugly and take the compliment, we were honest about Henry's ability to silence a restaurant with a scream or clear a table with one swipe of his arm. Jokes aside, Henry is pretty good in restaurants, but today he was perfect which made for a really lovely anniversary lunch.
Afterwards we went for a wander round town and a coffee in a pretty cafe. I then dropped the boys at the pub and took Henry home for a few hours before picking them up. We had a tasty BBQ for tea and I have a glass of prosecco waiting downstairs for when I've finished feeding Henry and got him down for the night. A very lovely Wednesday.
