Nowhere I'd rather be...

I worked a bit later than usual today then came home with my little pigwidgeon. He soon snuggled in for a nap so I enjoyed baby snuggles for 10 minutes then put him down in his cot and got all my jobs done. 

When he woke up I took him through to the lounge and we sat and watched The Gruffalo together and cuddled up. I had a cup of tea, he had his water and a snack...life felt pretty perfect. It's these moments that I love the most. So uncomplicated, so quiet and peaceful. I can honestly tell you there's nowhere I would rather have been this afternoon than in my PJs, cuddled up on the sofa with my boy, watching tv and listening to the rain lashing down outside. What could be any better?
