Celebrity Big Brother - everything that is wrong with the world?!

It pains me to say it, I usually LOVE Big Brother, I always have. But this year's Celebrity Big Brother is just horrendous. The 'celebrities' are hideous, their morals, appalling. 

The majority of the programme is them discussing how many people they've slept with in ONE night...this isn't a normal conversation that you should ever hear. Why anyone would have it on tv, I don't know. Do these people not have parents and grandparents watching them? Apparently Lee Ryan told his 5 year old son to watch him on tele every night and has spent the last week behaving like a mentally insecure porn star....what a role model! This is also the man that said he likes his women "a bit fucked up"...what a worrying statement. 

The young celebrities are bad enough but the older ones are just as bad. How sad must Jim Davidson's life be that he wants to go on Big brother?! Surely he can't be that short of money. I find it so odd that someone of Lionel Blair's age would want to do something like CBB. These people have children and grandchildren...surely their life experience should tell them that going on CBB will never be a good idea??

Evander Holyfield was the first to be evicted. Hardly surprising when he admitted to punching a horse when it threw him off, told Louisa that men and women will never be equal and he also thinks that gay people should be 'fixed'. He even likened it to people being born disabled...we do everything we can to help them so why wouldn't we do the same for gay people to help them become straight?! Surely this man isn't for real???

It worries me that my son will grow up in this world obsessed with 'celebrity' and had he been older, may have admired some of these idiots. He may have watched it and thought it was normal to regularly sleep with several women in one night. He might have watched and thought it was cool to drink and smoke all day long. He may have listened to the downright chauvinistic views of Dappy and Evander and thought these were normal views. There isn't one decent, normal person in that house and their lives in there aren't even entertaining to watch. Channel 5 should be ashamed of themselves giving these idiots air time. I am a massive fan of plenty of celebrities, but not the ones that are famous simply for being  famous, the ones with the loosest of morals, the ones that haven't done a hard day's work in their lives. And surely I'm not the only person that wishes that Dappy would pull his trousers up?! I don't need to see your pants, thank you.

God, I sound like such an old woman don't I?!
